School Administrator 

Scale 1 (or 2 dependent on experience) £18, 333 - £18,516 (actual £14,408 - £14,452)

The busy school office requires an efficient and friendly administrator to join the team. This role will be the first point of contact for all visitors to school, so it is vital that you possess strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate needs to be able to prioritise workloads, maintain pupil data accurately and have good attention to detail.

You will be undertaking general day-to-day operations within the school office, handling phone calls and emails, maintaining the website and overseeing the administration of medicines to pupils. 

Hours are expected to be 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 3.00pm Fridays

However, there may be some flexibility in these times by agreement.

School office experience is preferred, but not essential as training can be given.

You are required to work Term time only plus 5 days.

Family Support Worker  - Fixed Term for 12 months

Scale 6 - 37 hours per week, term time only plus training days

(£25,419 - £27,514 - pro rata)

The Governors of Bewdley Primary School wish to appoint a friendly and experienced Family Support Worker to support and guide our children and families in well-being and mental health on a day-to-day basis.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to act as the strategic link between the school and outside agencies/partners and work to provide families with early help and emotional well-being.

 

You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and relevant partners to provide a holistic support service designed at enhancing the wellbeing of some school community. You will need to be able to identify pupils who require support and use your specialist knowledge and skills to foster the social and emotional development of the children. You will also need to lead planned interventions and evaluate outcomes.

 

You will need to be innovative, reliable, caring yet assertive with excellent communication skills. You must have relevant experience of working with children with different needs and experience of working in a school or educational setting.

 

You will have a minimal qualification equivalent of NVQ level 4 with a GCSE in Maths and English (C or above).
