Anne Booth (Clerk)

I have been clerk to the Governors since September 2014. The first few weeks of my job were a steep learning curve as we had just appointed our new Headteacher and elected a new Chair of Governors. Happily we are now all fairly confident in our roles and work well together.

I liaise with the Head, Chair and other governors and try to ensure they are up-to-date with developments, policies, new guidelines, training etc. I prepare for and take minutes at the six Full Governing Body meetings and the Finance and Personnel Committee meetings.

I used to work in the school office but resigned that post in December 2106. I volunteer at the Rose Theatre in Kidderminster and am kept busy there as Publicity Manager. I also do backstage work and Front of House. I am married to Alan, who is Vice-Chair of the Governors and we have two daughters who live away from home and two cats who have taken over the home!
