I feel very privileged to be Chair of Governors at Bewdley Primary School.

Although new to the school I have lived in Bewdley for nearly thirteen years and love the sense of community that surrounds our beautiful town.

I have experience of being a teacher, an assistant head teacher and a head teacher in a number of schools in the Midlands including primary and maintained nursery schools.

 I have also been a governor and a chair of governors and have supported a range of other schools to improve their outcomes for children by working as an adviser.

As Chair my intention is to support the whole school community of staff, parents, governors and children to make BPS the best it can be.

I have three children and four grandchildren and believe strongly that every child deserves an excellent education.

I very much look forward to meeting you all in the near future.
