Year 4 - Science

The children in Year 4 have been studying animal habitats in science, investigating how humans are destroying animal environments through urbanisation and how this particularly effects hedgehogs.

They then created posters to share their knowledge and raise awareness.

For example, we can save hedgehogs in our own gardens by leaving out food such as cat food, water (never milk - they are lactose intolerant!) and by cutting small holes in our fences to create a "Hedgehog Highway" which allows them to travel from garden to garden and forage for worms!
