Christmas Challenges
As part of our countdown to Christmas, each year group are setting a challenge to the other year groups -
Reception - we were laughing all day long at the fabulous task set by Reception to find the best joke in the school!
Year 2 - for each class to record their best trick shot. Unfortunately, some of the photos are a little blurry as, when the shots finally worked, the celebrations were immense!
Year 3 - the challenge was to find the best class at lip-syncing along to the Christmas classic ‘All I Want For Christmas is You!’
Year 4 - the children set the fabulous task of recreating a scene from their favourite Christmas film. Home Alone featured heavily, as did Nativity!, but nothing was quite up to the same standard as Mr Fallows' Elf impression which was absolutely Oscar-worthy!
Year 5 - to learn how to sign along to We Wish You a Merry Christmas! The children worked so hard to learn and remember the chorus and all did a super job.
Year 6 - the photos from tte Year 6 Christmas Challenge don’t appear overly spectacular initially! However, when you discover that Year Six’s challenge was for the whole class to hide in the classroom without being seen, they become significantly more impressive! We’ve discovered today that children really can fit into the most extraordinary places!
On the final day of the BPS Christmas Challenges, Mrs Woakes set the school the fabulous challenge for each class to hum a Christmas classic. However, if any two classes chose the same song then both would be disqualified! The photos look particularly serious as it's very tricky to hum and smile at the same time! Congratulations to Lewis class who won this particular challenge with their rendition of the BPS classic, 'Reindeer on the Roof'.
