Home Learning

At Bewdley Primary School, the most important thing you can do with your child at home is simple: read, read, read!

Reading regularly with your child makes a huge difference. Share books together, listen to your child read, read to them and talk about the stories, characters and new words you discover.

Any additional home learning we would like children to complete will be shared in the weekly newsletter. This may include activities or information linked to reading, times tables or spellings, depending on your child’s year group and what they are learning in school.

We want home learning to be manageable, purposeful and supportive of the learning taking place in the classroom – not an additional burden for children or families.
