Sarah Remmers
My name’s Sarah Remmers and I’m proud and excited to be joining the governing board at Bewdley Primary School.
I’ve been a primary school teacher for 30 years, and a deputy headteacher at a Stourbridge primary school for 15 years. I have a range of skills and experience within areas such as leadership, curriculum development, safeguarding, and, my particular passion, personal development, which I hope will further support the continued improvement of your school.
I live in Kidderminster and I’m married with two sons aged 21 and 18, and we have a cavapoo called Archie. My younger son attended The Bewdley School for his secondary education, so I am familiar with the area and community.
I’m very busy with work, but in my free time I really like to travel, and I’m a big fan of nice restaurants and hotels! I equally enjoy being at home, spending time with my family and friends, cooking, reading and binge-watching any TV shows that grab my attention. I also enjoy the cinema and live music.

I go to the gym regularly and enjoy being outdoors; beach walks with Archie are a particular favourite of mine.
I'm looking forward to working closely with stakeholders at Bewdley Primary School and contributing to the vision and strategic direction of the school.
