I am a newly appointed parent governor and am enjoying being more involved in school life. I have already seen the commitment and dedication shown by the school to children and their families.

As a parent of two children in BPS, I have a keen interest in its direction, vision and ethos. I believe all children should be able to learn in a nurturing, diverse environment which focuses on not only academic development but also social development.

The children at BPS deserve a safe and enjoyable school environment. I believe our school is committed to providing that place for them and staff and governors all share the same desire for children to be confident and succeed in a supportive learning space.

I have been placed as a Link Governor for Early Years Foundation to monitor teaching and learning as well as hear of all the great things school provide to enhance and support the children’s development.

In my spare time I like to enjoy activities with my young family including biking, walking and having fun! I try to keep fit (when there is time!) and enjoy good food.

I hope to contribute in a positive way and assist with all the good work that is clearly already demonstrated.
