Amanda Bradley

I joined the governing body in 2012 as a staff governor and and was re-elected for the post in 2016. Since starting at Bewdley Primary in 2010, my day to day role has been as a class teacher in Lower Key Stage Two. I am also Key Stage Leader and Assessment Leader for the whole school, with a variety of other hats being worn at certain times!     I am currently involved with the governors’ Pupil Premium Committee which monitors the attainment and achievement of all pupils who receive Pupil Premium funding.

The role of Staff Governor can be challenging at times but it is always rewarding to know that you are able to contribute to any decisions which are made, as well as building stronger links between the governing body and staff members within the school. As the staff representative, I am able to share with governors any widely held staff views and opinions which may influence any discussions and decision making.
